OUR HISTORY

Oran J. Cottle founded Capital Lightning Protection Co., Inc. over fifty years ago.   Within ten years his success encouraged expansion with a building of a manufacturing plant.  Over the past forty years, growth of the original facility evidences Capital as the leading manufacturer of lightning rod components listed with Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. in the southeastern United States.   We are capable of designing and manufacturing materials for any project.  We create products that fit the job.

Design Capability

As a special service, we provide design assistance to architects, engineers and owners for planning functional lightning protection systems for virtually all varieties of structures.  Each lightning protection project demands special design consideration.   Our in-house design service assures that every job receives the individual attention essential for maximum lightning protection.
